Now entering our third season, the club offers junior and open age rugby league for all standards within the North Derbyshire area.

The club was formed from the merger of the Chesterfield Spires and the Eckington Chargers Junior Club.

2009 News: The First Grade team went down 16-28 in the Midlands RL Grand Final to a strong Birmingham Bulldogs A team. The under 12s fell at the semi final hurdle 8-28 at Telford but went down playing good rugby.

Representative Rugby

Josh Rymell and Dylan Hazlewood followed up their performances for the Midlands with selection for the East Midlands at Coventry last Sunday. They were joined by Anthony Symcox, Ryan Banner, Luke Walters and Ryan Bent in the under 12s.

Well done to all

The club has been awarded a grant from Awards for All for nearly £10000 to develop rugby in schools and to establish under 11s and girls rugby. More to come..
